loose ends

This crochet hook holder I started awhile ago and finally finished.

 

Still a few ends to finish off but it will look like this:

 

So now I can work on with the Ripple Cushion Cover with a clear conscience.

Found this lurking in the bead drawer which I had forgotten about...

So strung this together.

This fabric we bought on our wonderful holiday to visit the Fairy Godmother 

So thought I would make the Girl a little bag for Emergency Supplies. 

Had every colour ribbon except red of course,
so settled for a grey zipper pull.

Didnt get much finished this week but palyed around with this bird...

 

Added some fabric collage and machine stitching which was fun.

Again I didnt get very far, but used two new stitiches: stab stitich..

and scallop stitich. 

At least the house is now finished...ooops except for the doorknob!

the sun came out and the Fatcat couldnt get enough...

I made my first fabric canvas. Fabric+gesso= easy!

 

Then stitched some off cuts to make new paper
This is really fun!

Then back to the trusty Cricut.

I think the background is  a bit busy for the cutout..

and it needs a strong contrasting background.

Maybe this bird looks better on the blue?
