This Monk Bench has been in the family of years and needed a little makeover.

A bit of paint. A bit of wax. A little distressing. Some Maia Prass cushions and we are as good as new!

Make Merry

It was a slightly belated Christmans in July...

But we had fun getting it all ready the night before 

Then the People arrived and brought food...

And a good time was had by one and all

How gorgeous this Nativity Set knitted by 

a friend'a mom and lent for the occasion:

All in all a lovely day out in the country.

Paper play

I have been wanting to try this forever...

So when I had a bit of time and some left over water colour paper I gave it a try:

The paper was a bit flimsy for a bracelet so I thought it would work better as a decoration:

I am rather pleased with this :-)
