A very hastily quilted and cover sewn for the ipad. I remembered too late that I had meant to make the top flap rounded and sew the binding in one piece so will have to unpick at some stage :( irritated....

How lucky can one girl get! Wonderfully spoilt by my girlfriends on Monday.

These I love: a card which becomes a brooch and a chunky necklace in my favourite colours. Thanks Trace and Gill...(and you can see the butterfly necklace peeping out in the background...another winner)

Flower Power

I simply love flower embellishments. These I learnt from a tutorial on one of my FAVOURITE blogs -this girl just loves colour as much as I do and i learnt to crochet simply because i had to be able to make some of the things on her blog: check it out: http://attic24.typepad.com/weblog/

These i made to dolly up a skirt when I was madly dyeing my own fabrics.

The crochet flowers were sewn on to a plain pair of denims for a bit of fun . I was inspired to post these after a challenge on this blog:http://sewmamasew.com/blog2/?p=790
