Merry Christmas!

We had a lovely Christmas Day at the Beach. We managed to add a few more decorations to the rather sparse supply of Christmassy things here.
The Girl made a diaorama:
an angel for the top of the tree
The Mother made mince pies...

some crochet pinwheels

Some snowflakes

some paper stars
And one lone crochet star
Not a bad haul all told....

A little wreath

We had to make do with what we could find in the garden to rustle up a quick wreath for the holiday house:

On the 16th day of Christmas....

We are surprisingly up to date with the Pom Pom Advent Tree....
Mostly because The Oldest was most intrigued by the Pom Pom Maker...
I have crocheted some of Lucy's snowflakes...

But the rest of them now need some starch treatment too..

On the 10th day of Christmas...

I decided to make the Pom Pom advent calendar Lucy from Attic24 posted on Facebook.
I started today and only have 2 more to go then figure it will be easy to keep up. Thank goodness for the Pom Pom maker I bought a few years ago

Fatcat came to find the last of the morning sun in the now (almost packed) craft room...
Littlecat came to pester him

And then settled in the (almost empty) shelves...

angels we have heard on high..

Sweetly singing o'er the plains..

And the mountains in reply...

Echoing their joyous strains.

Gloria...
