retreat to the countryside

I had an opportunity to go on a lovely retreat this weekend, so didn't get much stitching done, but found all this vintagey loveliness in the local museum.

How about this lovely tea cosy?

I did get lots of crochet done, so will be showing that off on Thursday.
(Apologies on behalf of Blackberry for rather poor photos :-( )

  1. You certainly got some amazing bits of lace. I love the maltese lace and also the crochet lace, they are so pretty. The teacosy is amazing!!! Oh my, did you buy it?? Wow, I can't imagine how long it must have taken to do. What a beautiful piece. Looking forward to seeing your crochet on Thursday xoxo

  3. Lots of beauty in the museum, and amazing workmanship in that teacosy. A retreat must have been such a nice thing to do Leeanne! I'll look forward to seeing your crochet.
